course description for food safety certification:

Our State Approved Certified Food Safety Manager's Program (often called ServSafe) is comprehensive training above and beyond typical Certification courses. We provide you and your staff with current FDA and Local State Food Code training materials and instruction during this one day program. Through our easily understood instruction and resources, we train your team members on the importance of preventing all foodborne illness.

Our educational format focuses specifically on the following critical topics: personal health (related to exclusion and restriction and reportable diseases), the details of good personal hygiene, the prevention of cross-contamination, foodborne illness classifications, the Flow of Food, HACCP (understanding the basics of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), Food Code required cook temperatures, cleaning and sanitation, rodent and pest control and the legal ramifications of noncompliance. This is an interactive and fun program! Certification is valid for 5 years. Materials are mailed out in advance.
